Should you use unsalted butter or regular butter for Chocolate chip cookies?
Thanks,

Always use unsalted butter for baking. It has a fresher taste then salted butter, and most recipes call for added salt anyway.

Unsalted butter! Since you are most likely adding salt to the dry mix, using salted butter would just be adding more salt than needed. Always stick with unsalted butter for baking.

If your recipe just calls for butter, I would use salted butter. If the recipe indicates unsalted butter, then you should use unsalted.

I just wanted to say thank you for being more specific with the ingredient amounts. I appreciate that.
Can you be more specific with some of your recipes for example: Salted Nut Roll Bars recipe - 4 butter or margarine, is this 4 Tablespoons, 4 Cups or what.

This could also be done with flour tortillas, too, right? And I wouldn't think you'd have the issues with breakage like with the corn tortillas.
