I have a friend who is searching for a recipe for hard dumplings for soup like his mother made. He has tried to make them but the dumplings always become soft. Anyone have a recipe they want to share?

This is the recipe I use for my homemade soup: Beat 2 eggs, 1tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Add 1 1/2 c milk and 4 cups of flour. Make balls from dough using metal table spoon and boil 10-15 minutes. I've found they get more flavor boiling them in chicken broth.
I've hit the heart icon and nothing happens and the recipe is not in my recipe box. What am I doing...
The almond joy cake recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar. Shouldn't that be powdered sugar?

I think you should include directions for baking something in an oven along with your directions for "grilling".
how many dozen does the recipe make?
What the heck is a cup? and wheat wavery crackers don't exist over here.

I quit making meatloaf several years ago as they fell apart when I tried getting them out of the baking dish! I had always used gr chuck and then I swiched to gr round but that didn't make any difference.
