| 1 Hour to Cook & Eat |

| I am a working mother with 2 very active children. 3 nights a week I have one hour to cook & feed my family before we are off, making it very tempting to stop at the fast food places. Any ideas or recipes you can share with me would be greatly appreciated!! |

| I have gone to a couple of different businesses where you can make 6-8 meals in about 2 hours for approximately $200, depending on some of your choices. Everything is ready and waiting - the correct measurement in each of the ingredients. This works out pretty nice to have these on hand for rushed evenings. Most meals do have to be thawed in the refrigerator for a day before using. My two sisters and I also made our own meals and exchanged. I would recommend going to the business as it turned out to be more expensive and very time consuming to triple the meals. |

| Hi Megan,
Another idea that you might want to consider is a thing called "Once-a-month cooking". I have not tried this yet myself, but have purchased the book and plan to get together with two of my friends to do this. The book gives you 5 meal plans, 3-two week plans and 2-one month plans so your meal selection is varied. It also gives you everything you need to know to prepare the meals. I heard about this idea on the radio station that I listen to through a program that they were airing. If you would like to listen to this 2-day broadcast you can find it at www.family.org, on the left side of the screen click the "go" button by daily broadcast, then on the right side of the screen click on "more recent broadcasts", then scroll down to October 24 & 25. I have received my book and can't wait to get started!! |

| I found this idea and plan to do some day, but just haven't yet. Buy hamburger when it is on sale in big packages. Brown a pound at a time, put in freezer bag and throw in freezer. Then when you want to make something quick, just take the meat out and reheat to make tacos, spaghetti, whatever, a lot faster. |

| Have you tried to 'make a head meals'? you can make up to five meals ahead of time, and freeze! Unthaw in the fridge the night before and warm up for a quick and healty way to revive the family at dinner time. |
