| My family has had Christmas Eve at my parents house since we were little, now we are all married and we still continue the tradition. We open one gift at time, starting with the youngest and go to the oldest. It gives us a little more meaning behind Christmas rather then just ripping open gifts and not enjoying them. The grandkids are a bit impatient but it makes the gift they open all the more fun. :) |

| oh and, my mom puts a ham in the crock pot and it's a sure bet to get the whole family (especially the men) to the house. :) |
