| When I plan a party for a large group, for occasions such as confirmations, graduations, anniversaries, and weddings, I always keep notes on what I serve for food and how much I make of everything. I make lists of when and what to make ahead of time and what needs to be done the day of the event. When the event is over, I always set down within a couple of days, so everything is fresh in my mind, and make notes on how many people were at the event, what I had for leftover food, what I ran out of, and if there was anything that I should have done differently. I also make notes on how things were setup and decorated. I keep a file of these notes and they have been extremely helpful when planning the next event. Does anyone have any tips on how they plan for entertaining large groups? |
