A tip that I always use (because I'm lazy and hate scrubbing pans) I just use parchment paper or foil when using a baking pan. Makes things easier and simple :)

It's been 5 years that I've been baking homemade cookies and have learned a lot over the years. These tips can be used when baking store bought mixes or handmade mixes. You should consider to spray your pan with non stick spray. This will help when removing the cake from the pan. I have forgotten this many times and have silently cursed myself every-time.

Water??

The recipe calls for 1 cup of water. It says to add the poppy seeds to the water, then add the water to the mixture, then drain the poppy seeds.
