Just stumbled across this website by accident. Am from Indiana now living in Oklahoma. 30 years old and love to cook. I have a serious addiction to cookbooks and Taste of Home magazines. This definetly looks like my kind of site!

I save the magazines but if there is a specific recipe I really like I copy it to a card to keep it a little handier. Funny I've got magazines and cards all over my living room...trying to catch up.

Hi Jody and welcome to the board! I have a ton of recipe books too, and I just stopped getting Taste of Home. I have so many collected that I need to go through those and use them before getting more. Do you save the whole magazine or cut out what you want to save and file them? I'm debating that right now. Seems I don't use the recipe if it is not handy! I think if I had them organized I would use them more.
Can the starter and the juice from the fruit be frozen?

How do you tenderize round steak.
Does anyone know what you are supposed to do with the cheese in this recipe. It doesn't say whether you grated, shred, chunk.
Where are the ingredients listed?
i see the recipe but don't understand about the graham crackers. is it a graham cracker crust that you put the other ingredients on top of it or do you mix the graham crackers with the other ingredients then press into the pan? do you crumble the crackers into the mixture.

What size baking pan for easy banana bars recipe do you use?
What sides did you make to go with this? Also when you put it in the oven to cook 10 min. did you turn it during that time? I just wondered because I didn't & i noticed when i turned it down the bottom was pretty much black.
