Just stumbled across this website by accident. Am from Indiana now living in Oklahoma. 30 years old and love to cook. I have a serious addiction to cookbooks and Taste of Home magazines. This definetly looks like my kind of site!

I save the magazines but if there is a specific recipe I really like I copy it to a card to keep it a little handier. Funny I've got magazines and cards all over my living room...trying to catch up.

Hi Jody and welcome to the board! I have a ton of recipe books too, and I just stopped getting Taste of Home. I have so many collected that I need to go through those and use them before getting more. Do you save the whole magazine or cut out what you want to save and file them? I'm debating that right now. Seems I don't use the recipe if it is not handy! I think if I had them organized I would use them more.
Can you please let me know what you think the best make of kitchen knife is.
The recipe calls for 1 cup of water. It says to add the poppy seeds to the water, then add the water to the mixture, then drain the poppy seeds.
