My sister suggested that I soak my pans in a small amount of powdered dishwasher soap and it worked. I've also soaked crock pots in dishwasher soap and that works too.

Loosen caked-on food from a pan. Place a fresh sheet in the bottom of a dirty pan, fill with lukewarm tap water, and let sit in the sink overnight. The pan will be easier to clean in the morning.

I have a teflon pan that has a hard black coating which makes food stick when cooking. How can I remove it without scratching the teflon?

Do you have suggestions for freezing this? Would it be ok to split the recipe and freeze half? Should the frozen half be thawed before cooking? Should it be frozen after cooking? If so, how do you suggest reheating.
