Substitutions for Half & Half?

Substitutions for Half & Half?

I am going to try a new soup recipe and it is asking for 1/8 c half & half, which I do not have. I do have dairy creamer, 2% milk, skim milk, and heavy whipping cream. Can any of these be used as a substition since such a small amount is needed? Thank you so much for your help.

If you go to the charts on this site, they have one for food substitutions and it has several substitution suggestions for Half & Half. The link to the charts can be found under the "Tips & Advice" tab at the top of the page or the address is http://www.recipetips.com/kitchen-tips/t--200/food-substitutions.asp . You will find the Half & Half under the Cheese and Dairy Products.

This could also be done with flour tortillas, too, right? And I wouldn't think you'd have the issues with breakage like with the corn tortillas.
